LUCID

“Hear my soul speak: The very instant that I saw you did my heart fly to your service.” -Shakespeare

For her, knowing was not enough. Knowing was not enough when her heart longed for his warmth and her mind embraced his truths. Knowing was not enough when her body needed his touch and her soul revived from his assurance. She wanted to know and feel. She wanted to touch what she felt was crafted for her existence. However, her mind sustained what her heart could not bear; the waiting. She would have to wait for their moments of connection, and although she felt that she was waiting for time to present these moments, she was really waiting for time to shift his perception.
